Testimonials
- "This was my best vacation, well-balanced -with wholesome fun, fellowship, inspiring music, and edifving presentations" was a chorus repeated many times over by Sabbath at Sea group members. The same sentiment was echoed by visitors drawn into the group by the rousing song services conducted by Raymond Ali, with one couple requesting a church contact to further Christian fellowship and worship on their return home. "Yes, the cruise lived up to all the advertisement, and even more. The memories will live on in my heart and mind for years," said Elizabeth Mc Kinney, of Albuquerque , New Mexico .
- The Sabbath at Sea cruise is the best gift my son could ever have given to me." remarked Daphne Jumarally-Ali, of Queens , New York .
- The Sabbath at Sea cruise was nicely arranged and conducted. All of the participants did their parts so beautifully.
I could sense the presence of the Lord there. No one could ever have expected more. It was breathtaking. I honestly did
like the ship, but we knew it must come to an end," said Ponce and Eulalee Ferguson,
from Boston, Massachusetts.
- The goal of Newarc Travel is to provide reliable travel service (mainly groups and cruises) to
clients, and to use its resources to support missionary endeavors. In 1991 Rolston Carryl, President of Newarc Travel, along with his
brothers Stephen Carryl and Owen Carryl, founded Overseas Medical Assistance Team, which has since made 20 overseas trips providing free medical attention.
Other projects include a free tutoring program (GEM), working with Dr. Ben Carson during
the past 11 years.
The Sabbath at Sea cruise was yet another missionary out-reach program providing spiritual rejuvenation in addition to rest and relaxation. Many have requested that Sabbath at Sea be an annual event around which they would plan their yearly vacation, and so Sabbath at Sea 2007 is scheduled to sail |
